The German record company Carpe Diem, has recently completed two new productions and presents them to the audience of Moni Lazariston Festival. For this production collaborated nine internationally recognized musicians and they will present their work in two concerts on Tuesday, 15th September, at 21:00.

The evening will open with the presentation of the album “Mneme”, by the old music group Ex Silentio, which hosts the singer Theodora Baka. The "Mneme" includes medieval secular music from southern Europe and traditional music of Eastern Mediterranean.

Then will take place the presentation of the musical project “Udopia” of Thimios Atzakas, which will be presented at the audience of Thessaloniki for the first time.

It is a tribute to the rich heritage of the medieval West and the musical traditions of the Mediterranean. It’s a combination of different languages, musical instruments and idioms showing a fascinating music mosaic.

Thimios Atzakas: Udopia

The Udopia is an oral bio-musical timeline of fifteen years which consists of seven musical narratives Thymios Atzakas, orchestrated for oud and a total of five musicians.
