Three masterpieces of classical ballet in one performance with a single ticket

The Imperial Russian Ballet of  Moscow established to celebrate the 50 years of impressive  presence of Maya Plisetskaya on stage, the great ballerina of the Bolshoi Company. The successful artistic collaboration between Maya Plisetskaya and the first dancer and leader of the ballet Gediminas Taranda led to the formal establishment of the Imperial Russian Ballet of Moscow. The ballet continues the great Russian tradition of always choosing their repertoire of authentic Russian ballet acts. The ballet company consists of 40 dancers and prominent solists  of Russia.

The Gediminas Taranda, artistic director of the Imperial Russian Ballet of Moscow, is a dynamic personality and a prominent dancer of the Bolshoi Company who is extremely beloved by the audiance. With the charm and unequaled style full of energy as interpreted very  dynamic and magical roles, combining dramatic expression to the quality of a great artist, made him stand out immediately. As artistic director of the Imperial Russian Ballet of Moscow stands out for his organizational skills and his talent as a choreographer.

Carmen

Protagonist of the project is Carmen, a tobacco worker of Seville,  an independent girl with antagonistic spirit, a gypsy who loves love and life. It's a charming personality who easily seduce the naive corporal Don Jose, who is forced to imprison her after a brawl. However, he is in love with her and followed the infamous places in the area.
Endless night with love lead Don Jose even to crime for  his love. Fugitive and deserter, resulting in ambush smugglers and Carmen finds new love in person bullfighting, Escamillo. Don Jose has no choice. Begs Carmen to stay with him. Otherwise they threaten to kill her. Carmen refuses to lose her freedom. Prefers death. Then Don Jose kills and surrender.

The idea of ??Gediminas Taranda:
On the throne there  is a glorious deity which is worshiped by priests and priestesses. Through dance movements, her body is joined to the body of the  priests, which is the only one who has acquired the right to touch the deity. Their contact brings drunkenness and begins to feel equal with the deity, but this is an illusion, an illusion caused by the captivating charm. At the end,  the deity rise again on the throne of pushing a grand way to the abyss the insane who chase her.

Chopiniana

It is one of the most romantic ballets. It is a tribute to the Romantic era. The choreography for one hundred years is a great opportunity to admire the talent of the young a poet,  muses and of course the choreography of Mikhail Fokin.
