Avramidou Sofia was born in Thessaloniki in 1988. She studied piano at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamaria in Thessaloniki. She graduated in direction of Composition of the Music Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, supervised by professor Christos Samaras. From October 2013 she continues her postgraduate studies in composition at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with Professor Ivan Fedele. In May 2014 within the framework of the 6th Composition Competition "Dimitris Dragatakis" won the first prize of the Greek Composers Union, for the work  "Skin" for string quartet. She participated in many composition and piano seminars with Beat Furrer, Phillipe Manoury, Maurizio Pollini, Theodoros Antoniou, George Chatzini etc. Her work has been presented in Europe and America, ie: '' La Fenice '' (Venice), '' Auditorium- Parco della Musica '' (Rome),  '' Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia '' (Rome), '' Santuario della Madonna di Mongiovino '' (Panikale and Boston University).

As a singer she has worked with many ensembles and artists such as Elias Liougos,  Dulce Pontes, George Stavrianos, Orpheus Peridis, Manolis Rasoulis, Milva, the Municipal Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the Patras Plucked String Orchestra and many others.

On August 28 Sophia Avramidou singing in an open concert in Monis Lazariston Festival. Markus and Tsitsanis, to  Hatzidaki and his descendants. In her side Sakis Kontonikolas plays piano. Kostas Matsigos plays guitar ... and other surprises.
