LEMONOSTIFEL

In the greek tv puppet show called Frutopia, the bad guys were also present. Two notorious and mean factories: Compostal was responsible for making fruit compote and Lemonostifel would produce fruit refreshments.

Our trip begins in Kastoria where Gabrilos meets Haris and they create the first demo, accompanied by the cello of Evi. Since there is always room for a fourth one, Nestoras joins the group with his guitar. As years pass by, leaving memories and inspiration behind, so did Giorgos Tolios (drums), Christos Tsaprazis (double bass), Dimitris Baslam (acoustic bass), Thanos Sideris (bass clarinet). After a small break, Gabrilos Chrisicopoulos (guitar, trumpet, bouzouki), Nestoras Kapodistrias (guitar), Michalis Vrettas (violin), Charis Voreadis (drums), Panos Manou (bass) and Nikos Magnisalis (percussion) revive the chimneys of Lemonostifel.

Concerts and theatric plays come and go and the wind of Lemonostifel leads to Larisa, where they record their first album, in collaboration with the sound engineer Christos Megas, at the studio of Thanasis Papakonstantinou. Next summer Michalis walks his own path, while Nikos Papaioannou (cello) and Vaggelis Brachnos (trumpet) join the group. New compositions awaiting to be recorded by Titos Kariotakis and Christos Harbilas lead to the second album, released by their record company, alltogethernow. More concerts, theatrical plays and video clips emerge, the third album is on its way and the chimneys keep on smoking, bringing us the refreshing effects of the fruits of Lemonostifel...
