Metamorphosis were formed, after a proposal of Moni Lazariston Festival to create a band, that its primary role would be the reflection of the specific nature and the unique character of the Festival, in the most representative way. Their style is based on a combination of old and modern elements. Their aim is to explore the international music tradition and present a new dimension, a new form. Just like Moni Lazariston Festival, which combines different styles and promotes diversity.

Metamorphosis find inspiration in music from all over the world. By having tradition as a starting point, they transform the international rhythms and melodies into new sounds, with jazz, blues and funk influences. Their first concert took place at the Open Stage of Moni Lazariston Festival 2012, where they presented a show full of surprises. After receiving warm applause and satisfying reviews, the band planned two more concerts, which were also successful. Their future plans consist of continuous live performances and the production of their first album.
