Himerini Kolymvites are old acquaintances of Moni Lazariston Festival. So old they are the first who gave a concert in the ruins of the complex of Moni Lazariston 25 years ago! Now, they return on Wednesday, June 10th with an anniversary concert! Not only is the anniversary of 25 years of the first historic concert at Moni Lazariston but also the completion of 35 years of presence in recordings and 50 years from the formation of the original band with A. Bakirtzis, I. Papadamou and K. Sideris.

The anniversary character of the concert led them to invite some musicians that somehow are connected with them. The Band of Florina, Phoebus Delivorias, Kostas Anastasiadis, Thomas Korovinis, and George Pilali.

Himerini Kolymvites will present many songs and what is requested of their eight albums, but other unrealeased. They will go on full composition. They will attend in order of antiquity accession to the band, Argyris Bakirtzis (vocals), Kostas Sideris (mesompouzouko, vocals), Michael Siganidis (bass, vocals), Costas Vomvolos (accordion), Haris Papadopoulos ( bouzouki), Theodore Rellos (clarinet, saxophone), Babis Papadopoulos (guitar). Dionysius Roussos (guitar, vocals) accompany occasionally the band for ten years since the early 80s.
